Filmmaking & Video Production
Jericho High School
The Day Show (with Micha and Special Guest)
This is a student-led talk show run by my video production teacher, and we spend an entire year creating and producing the material for the show, after which we have rehearsals and finish with filming. As soon as I found out about the show, I wanted to host the show. During my first year of taking my school's Video Production course, I worked behind the scenes on the talk show running the teleprompter and setting up interviews. Then during my second year of taking Video Production, I have had the honor of being the host! I plan to host as many episodes as I can this year. I've enjoyed the whole process of making this show, as well as the amazing team of people with whom I had the pleasure of working.
My Films
These are films that I made in my Video Production Classes at Jericho High School in Long Island, NY.
We all produced this film together in my class, and it was a lot of fun. We shot the film together, and then each of us created our own edits. This is my edit, and it's supposed to be a comedy. The plot is as follows: This kid orders spicy food, and he eats it, but it's too spicy, so he runs to the water fountain, which sends him back in time 5 minutes. He tries to go back in time to prevent himself from eating the spicy food. However, he fails at preventing himself from eating the spicy food, because there were two tacos, and he is only able to knock the first taco out of his hands after he goes back in time. There was another taco hiding in the bag that he didn't see!
There is a joke around my school about a movie called "Jericho HD," which is not a real movie, of course, it's just an inside joke that has a cult following at my school. I thought it would be funny to make a trailer for the sequel to this underground movie that we all have fun laughing about. I did all the writing, directing, and editing. I had help filming some of the scenes that I couldn't film myself because I'm in them. I made this trailer with my peers in mind, and they thought it was entertaining, which made me very happy.
